Ms. Alston is Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Correctional Health Care Professional, and Master Practitioner in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.). She is most gratified by her work as an ART therapist for the past decade, and supervisor and assistant ART trainer for more than 3 years. Ms. Alston has more than three decades of experience as a licensed clinician, a business-owner, and dynamic healthcare leader specializing in developing and implementing contracts focused on providing integrated health care strategies and solutions in public and private institutions. She is recognized as a caring and passionate leader and for her deep commitment to improving health outcomes for diverse and vulnerable populations. Ms. Alston across the span of her career in three states, has been respected for her innate ability to build key partnerships among various state and private agencies that resulted in strengthening integrated service delivery systems and developing quality and compassionate care for individuals served, as well as those “with boots on in the field,” providing services. In 2001 Ms. Alston started her growing private clinical and consulting practice, and during the past year launched expansion of her business to establish LifeAID, A Healing Center in the town of East Granby, CT where she resides. She can dedicate herself to providing ART to individuals across the lifespan who experience profound life-changing results, and to furthering the work of ART locally and nationally, in addition to her work as a consultant, evaluator, and supervisor in other capacities.
